Emancro Robotics Corp.
is a startup developing general-purpose AI-powered robots that are capable of automating a variety of logistics tasks within hospitals such as restocking medication cabinets, moving supplies, or managing medication trays.
In order to train our AI-Systems we are looking for a data collection assistant who can help us collect large quantities of high quality data through a combination of recording videos of humans performing the task (e.
g.
restocking a medication cabinet) as well as humans teleoperating (remote-controlling) the robot through a VR-Headset.
This role does not require programming skills, and does not involve any programming: - Onsite, Part-time 8-10h per week - Compensated with $22.
50/h - Location: 1331 Seventh Street, Berkeley In addition to data collection, there are other miscellaneous tasks such as preparing experiment objects (e.
g.
applying labels to replica medication items), or annotating data with bounding boxes.
This role is a great opportunity to learn about how it’s like to work at a technology startup, and observe some of the processes needed to develop and train AI-powered robots.
Preferred qualifications: - Requires significant attention to detail, as the data collection needs to be as consistent as possible.
