Position Summary Bay FC is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our team.
The People Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing our team's performance and satisfaction by managing a wide range of HR functions and leveraging Rippling, our HR platform, to streamline processes, improve employee experience, and provide insightful data-driven decisions.
The successful candidate for this role will become our go-to expert for all things People Ops, enabling our team to maximize productivity and focus on what they do best.
This full-time position reports to the VP of People.
Duties and Responsibilities - include but are not limited to the following: Provide People Operations support to leaders, football club employees, players, contractors, consultants, and prospective new hires.
Serve as the primary administrator for Rippling, ensuring optimal configuration, compliance, and utilization of the platform.
Implement and manage HR processes including hiring, background checks, onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
Collaborate with teams to analyze HR data and develop strategies to improve employee engagement, performance, and retention.
Manage a variety of HR projects and initiatives, from conception through execution, including employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and National Women’s Soccer League policies.
Maintain a positive working environment while following company core values.
Qualifications: 2 years of experience in HR or People Operations, with a strong preference for candidates who have extensive experience with Rippling A get-it-done, DIY attitude: Ownership for job responsibilities with personal pride and accountability Very strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize HRIS systems Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our team Ability to show knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations through questions, discussions and completed tasks Ability to work independently with little supervision required, while showing good judgement and escalating appropriately Ability to remain calm while working under pressure in a busy environment Ability to work within timeframe of standard policies and procedures and not miss deadlines/due dates Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve in a busy, fast paced environment Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our team Excellent time, leadership, and management skills Efficient in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong professionalism and organizational and planning skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred but not required Experience as a Rippling administrator is an asset Experience playing and/or passion for soccer is an asset Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this role is between $90,000-$100,000, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
