Schedule: Full Time, 35 hours/week, approximately 3 days working onsite, Temporary (3 months) The mission of the experienced and driven People Operations Coordinator is to support the Chief People Officer and facilitate the daily operations and procedures of the People Team.
This role requires superior initiative, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple high-priority requests while interfacing professionally with people inside and outside the organization.
The People Operations Coordinator will engage and have direct access to internal and external stakeholders, including trustees, vendors, and staff at all levels while upholding the core values of the Museum.
Responsibilities & Duties Support people programs, processes, resources, training, and tools to continually improve the employee experience.
Participate in developing, running, and improving all people operation programs, including, but not limited to: people (data) analytics, compensation analysis, engagement surveys, OKR's, performance, training, DE&I, etc.
Perform high-level program analysis utilizing survey, and market data.
Maintain people data across HR and internal systems and implement steps to ensure 100% data integrity.
Collaborate to continually update and maintain the employee handbook, internal tools, standardized operating procedures, documentation, policies and other training collateral.
Manage all administrative support duties for the Chief People Officer, including, but not limited to: coordination of Board committee meetings, distribution, copying, filing, screening phone calls, drafting and processing correspondence and other written material as assigned, maintaining calendars, coordinating travel arrangements and meetings.
Support on an ad hoc basis other operational and administrative functions such as data entry, contract management, expense management, email correspondence, documentation and other relevant duties as assigned.
Serves as divisional contact and supports the day-to-day office activities of the People Team including filing, mail, phones/email, ordering supplies, coordinating meetings and preparing materials, scheduling and providing staff support at meetings and events organized by the department as needed.
Participates in cross-functional team meetings representing the People Team as appropriate.
Supports engagement activities and events Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills Two (2) to three (3) years of experience as an HR Assistant, HR Generalist I, People Operations Specialist, or similar HR/talent role.
Experience managing and analyzing large people data sets within core HR systems (HRIS, E-Learning, Engagement Survey Platform, ATS, Excel, or Google Sheets) required.
Ability to solve difficult problems; develops creative solutions; identify key issues/problems through analysis and questions.
Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.
Project Management experience in leveraging systems such as Asana Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Teams.
Strong organizational skills with excellent communication, both written and verbal.
Diplomacy and ability to deal effectively with trustees, volunteers, public and staff.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with continual demands and changing priorities.
