Compensation:
$30 - $60 hourly
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Therapist at SF Stress and Anxiety Center, your role will include the following responsibilities:
Maintain a caseload of at least 10 clients per week, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our community
Dedicate a minimum of 15 hours per week to client sessions and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient and effective management of your workload
Attend weekly Individual Supervision
Work in-person at our downtown San Francisco office (hybrid in-person/at-home option available)
Keep your professional Associate license up to date with either the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or the California Board of Psychology, demonstrating your commitment to professional standards and ongoing development
Complete progress notes in a timely manner, ensuring the continuity of care for clients and providing accurate and comprehensive documentation
Attend mandatory yearly meetings, which serve as an opportunity to stay informed about any policy or procedural changes within the organization.
These meetings also facilitate connections with your colleagues
Qualifications:
Most importantly, you should be passionate about working with a full range of clients and collaborating with a team.
Also, you need to:
Be flexible and open to collaboration
Be curious and open to building your skills
Be eager to dive into and build a caseload
Have a Master's in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Social Work from an Accredited University
Have a California Associate license AMFT, ASW, APCC, Psych Assistant
Have relevant clinical experience and at least 500 clinical hours utilizing Evidence-Based Practices for psychosocial issues such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, communication, life transitions, and more
Understand the HIPAA requirements for mental health records and substance abuse records, and maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
