POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Service Director, the Front Door Attendant will greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
They will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be.
To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Greets guests who arrive by welcoming them to the restaurant.
Opens restaurant doors for all guests.
Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
Resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries
Creating and Distributing menus related to the guests experience
Maintaining and stocking restrooms throughout service
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
Relevant hospitality and service experience
Commitment to quality, excellence, and genuine hospitality
Passion for creating unique guest experiences
Ability to provide warm, humble, and knowledgeable service
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong task and time management abilities
Willingness to continue learning about food, beverage, and service

Ability to work nights, weekends, extended hours, and holidays
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs; Ability to [stand and/or sit] for prolonged periods of time
Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, climb stairs and steps, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
