*About the Opportunity:* We are seeking an experienced, motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, self-directed full-time METRC Technician to join our compliance team! You will perform activities in METRC from tracking, documenting, and ensuring all track and trace entries of cannabis products.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the strict documentation of cannabis inventory and movements.
You will also be supporting the Compliance Director with the day-to-day compliance operations with the ability to execute detailed tasks efficiently in a dynamic, friendly workplace.
METRC experience is required.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*: * Create all METRC manifests for all orders and shipments between locations * Provides aid to the cultivation team in ALL cultivation-related METRC activities * Reviews and approves all outgoing transfers to ensure batches, SKU’s and QTY’s are correct * Manages information transfer between METRC and facility locations * Ensure orders are meeting State and local compliance rules * Adjusts inventory to account for damage, defect, disposal, rejections & returns * Ensure transfer is properly documented and inputs monthly inventory audits * Consistently reviews inventory numbers to ensure METRC & Inventory Sheets tie to physical inventory * Works closely with the production team during all lab sampling events * Assst in onboarding and training of new employees in METRC * Provide management with requested reports and documents * Assist with data entry and maintenance of METRC records and database * In coordination with the METRC Administrator develop, implement, and manage audit processes.
* Conducts audits developed by the METRC Administrator, reviews facility audit discrepancies with METRC Administrator, and weekly audits of data standardization in all technology platforms.
* Inspect operational workflows and suggest efficiency, record keeping, and accuracy improvements to Compliance Director * Monthly manifest audit to ensure proper information is correctly recorded for all shipping manifests.
* Monthly packaging & labeling audits of retail-ready products.
* Monthly audit of Adjustment Logs.
* Monthly audit of Waste Logs.
* Other duties as needed *Requirements* *QUALIFYING SKILLS:* * Ability to work a flexible schedule.
* Experience with and clear understanding of California’s METRC track and trace system * Ability to work efficiently and self-directed and maintain confidentiality.
* Professional communication skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be proficient with intermediate to advanced computer skills in the following: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Workspace.
Experience with a Metrc is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and problem-solving/analytical skills; able to manage projects, priorities, and workflow.
* Ability to prioritize and multitask; deadline and detail-oriented with good judgment and the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
* Willingness to pitch in to help others when needed.
* Bilingual skills preferred.
* Must be 21+ years old.
* Background check required.

*Education & Experience:* * Associates Degree, GED or equivalent, similar work-related experience * 1-3 Years of experience with METRC track and trace system & compliance experience * In-person office work setting *PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: * Constant exposure to fine particulate cannabis plant material as airborne particles.
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; occasional stooping.
* The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
* Regularly ascends/descends stairs to the office area.
* The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
* The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) and fine print documents or presentation screens.
* Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across the office for various needs.
* Occasionally moves boxes or equipment up to 50 pounds.
* Constantly works in an indoor office setting.
* May spend time in cold areas and noisy processing areas moving to the office area.
* Daily exposure to machinery noise, and extreme heat/cold.
* Available to work 50+ hours a week during harvest months (Oct - mid-Nov) *Job Type:* * Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm * Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
