Animal Fix Clinic is a non-profit surgery clinic whose core mission is to deliver exemplary care regardless of caretaker finances.
We run a robust community cat TNR program, we offer spay/neuter surgery to companion animals on a sliding scale, and we help our community’s animals with major life-saving or life changing surgeries.
*Position Summary:*
The Data Entry Assistant is a member of the clinic staff.
Primary responsibilities enter both medical records and work within our donor database entering information/generating reports and maintaining SOPs .
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, detailed medical records and keeping all donor data updated and easily reportable and accessible.
*What You’ll Do: *
* Daily input of medical records
* Daily input of donor information into Donor Database
* Generate reports as needed
* Maintain and update SOPs as needed
*Ideal Candidate will posses *the following knowledge and skills:
* Previous experience in a data entry preferred
* Proficient in typing and data entry skills
* Familiarity with medical terminology and abbreviations
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Time management skills
* Familiarity with computerized databases and systems including Donor Perfect
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* Be highly motivated
* Complete tasks/work with minimal supervision
* Be able to focus in a busy clinic setting
* Be an enthusiastic self-starter
* Have a professional attitude
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook)
