This position will lead data collection and reporting efforts in the Center for Advancing Dyadic Care in Pediatrics (“CADP”) at ZSFG Dept of Psychiatry.
This position will oversee a Quality Improvement and Evaluation Coordinator.
They will work directly with team members in the Center for Advancing Dyadic Care in Pediatrics and the ZSFGH Children’s Health Center HealthySteps Program.
They will lead evaluation efforts to promote program effectiveness, functionality and success, and measure the impact of our CADP.
The position will provide consultation and recommendations related to data collection and reporting to external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be able to function independently and as part of a team.
They will have experience with grant writing and reporting, quantitative and qualitative research design and methodology, informatics and electronic medical records, advanced statistical methods, quality improvement processes, and program coordination and management.
It is preferred that the candidate have experience with pediatric health care, early childhood health and mental health, and public health financing.
Experience in trauma-informed care is preferred.

html Department Description The UCSF Center for Advancing Dyadic Care in Pediatrics is an initiative to support the expansion of early childhood/family-integrated behavioral health services into Medi-Cal serving pediatric primary care settings across California.
Our mission is to promote child and family well-being by working collaboratively with publicly insured pediatric primary care settings to develop sustainable early childhood integrated behavioral health services through technical assistance and training.
Our vision is to make family-centered, dyadic behavioral health promotion and prevention a routine and sustainable standard of pediatric health care in early childhood.
By destigmatizing behavioral health care and intervening early, we aim to transform the way in which pediatric healthcare is delivered in California and mitigate child health disparities created by systemic inequities.

The Division of Integrated Behavioral Health is part of the ZSFG Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
The Division provides behavioral health consultation, triage, assessment, intervention, psychotherapy, linkage, and treatment recommendations to inpatient and outpatient medical clinics at ZSFG.
The Evaluation Manager reports directly to the Director of the Center.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing or other healthcare profession AND minimum three years of experience or a combination of comparable clinical education and/or experience.
Thorough knowledge of QI standards, clinical chart review and abstraction, and regulatory requirements.
Thorough knowledge of QI models, measurement tools, and techniques, including collection, aggregation, abstraction, validation, analysis, and reporting of data.
Detail-oriented, with proven ability to effectively manage time, see projects through to completion, organize competing priorities, and effectively address complex, urgent issues as they arise.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage multiple levels of information and responsibilities, to quickly assess complex problems, and to develop and implement timely and effective solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with a broad range of clinical and technical staff and representatives of external regulatory agencies and for mentoring lower-level QI staff.
Strong skills required to effectively convey complex clinical and technical information both verbally and in writing and to produce high quality reports and documentation.
Strong knowledge in Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) or SPSS or related experience Strong skills in data management and analysis Knowledge of epidemiological research Knowledge of project, grant management and evaluation Strong skills in policy analysis Strong skills in Organizational Development and implementation science, including knowledge of LEAN management Strong skills in professional training and group facilitation Experience with mental and behavioral health programs serving children, youth, and families Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of various administrative and business software packages, and of the specialized applications for quality data management.
Strong skills to influence staff, management, and clinicians at all levels and across departments.
