*Job Description:*
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized leader to join our growing team as Senior Manager, Accounting.
In this role, you will lead many aspects of accounting management for our branches, assisting month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and implementing efficient processes and controls.
You will utilize your existing accounting skills and knowledge, learn new skills, and play a key role in guiding the growth of the accounting department.
This role is ideal for someone looking to transition from public accounting to a dynamic and innovative work environment.
*Potential Responsibilities:*
* Own core accounting responsibilities including month end close process, account reconciliation and financial and managerial reporting
* Oversee the team of Senior Accountants and outsourced consultants who will help with the day-to-day operations, detail reviewing work.
Assists with all aspects of accounting and preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
* Facilitate external audit reporting and review the auditors PBC schedules.
* Develop, maintain and ensure policy, procedures and internal controls are updated in accordance to US GAAP
* Ability to research and reconcile discrepancies and verify documents in accordance with accounting procedures and policies.
* Seek opportunities for process improvements and implement operational accounting efficiencies through improved policies and control enhancements.
* Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in special projects, system improvements or ad hoc analyzes/projects as assigned.
*You have:*
* 6+ years working as an accountant, auditor, or similar accounting-focused role
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field
* Highly motivated and detail oriented
* Analytical and organizational skills
* Experience working with multi-entity/consolidating financial statements
* Familiarity with US GAAP Accounting Principles
* Knowledge of NetSuite preferred
* Public accounting experience, Big 4 accounting firm preferred
* CPA preferred
