Sodexo has an exciting opening for a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to support the team at the upscale Villa Marin location in San Rafael, CA.
We are looking for a manager with prior culinary supervisory/management skills and hands-on food production experience to join our growing team.
Position reports to the Executive Chef.
The successful candidate will: be responsible for purchasing, menu/recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, hands-on cooking; supervision of large-scale batch cooking; ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented; have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations; ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Position Summary: Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables.
May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.
