We are looking for a Legal Analyst to assist our Government Receivables underwriting team with legal due diligence and investment monitoring on our newest private credit strategy.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate underwriting of potential Government Receivable investments, including conducting borrower interviews and analyzing due diligence materials
Organize diligence and monitoring efforts across a growing portfolio of revolving loans
Draft investment memoranda summarizing results of underwriting and strengths and weaknesses of potential investments
Assist in tasks across functions including: origination, underwriting, structuring, portfolio management, operations, technology and marketing.
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, History, Political Science, Mathematics, or related field with desirable or equivalent experience from a top-tier institution
2+ years of experience as a Paralegal at an AmLaw 200 firm and/or comparable boutique firms (litigation experience preferred)
Experience in financial statement analysis, financial modeling or financial valuation; preparing financial information, interpreting financial performance or assessing risk exposure
Ability to articulate financial concepts and information in both verbal and written forms
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team environment spanning multiple disciplines
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast paced startup environment
