Help us scale our legal team The opportunity: The Legal department has grown alongside the business and we're looking for the next addition to our legal team, who will provide support to the legal department and the Company globally in areas such as litigation support, legal operations, contract review support, and corporate governance.
As Senior Paralegal/Legal Operations Associate, you'll join a small and mighty global team and report to the Head of Legal Operations & Chief of Staff.
You will also regularly partner with Commercial Counsel, Litigation Counsel, Corporate Counsel, the Chief Legal Officer, and the Head of Legal Operations & Chief of Staff on various projects.
This position requires previous experience with litigation support, eDiscovery, legal operations, and contract review workflow administration.
This position requires excellent project management skills, the ability to wear multiple hats and multi-task, strong attention to detail, strong document management focus, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

You will: Provide Litigation/Dispute and eDiscovery Support Assist the in-house legal team in the performance of eDiscovery processes and tasks in support of litigation and anticipated litigation matters, internal and government investigations, subpoenas, and M&A due diligence Assist in providing recommendations to the legal team on eDiscovery best practices, developing eDiscovery plans, and case documentation Assist in the development, implementation, and day-to-day management of eDiscovery plans that include early case assessment, data source and custodian identification, issuance and management of legal holds, data preservation, data collection, data processing, document review, and production strategies Assist in the development and implementation of eDiscovery policies, procedures, and workflows Maintain detailed eDiscovery tracking for each matter Collaborate and coordinate with the in-house legal team, outside counsel, vendors, and internal business clients Maintain matter management/dispute tracker Train new litigation team members on litigation support and eDiscovery technology, processes, and best practices Assist with responses to 3rd party subpoenas, including gathering responsive files, coordinating extensions with counsel, and serving materials Coordinate processing of wage garnishments with Payroll Engage in Contracts Administration Serve as the global legal team's contract lifecycle management (CLM) system administrator Participate in contracting workflows to ensure that contract review SLA's are met, that necessary contract data is captured, and that contracts are executed in an accurate and timely fashion Prepare and maintain training materials and best practices documentation on CLM workflows and system functionality Run regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy and that best practices and processes are being followed Design, generate, and distribute reports based on legal and business team requirements Manage contract templates Identify and troubleshoot system issues.
Provide recommendations and resolution options to stakeholders Serve as legal team main point of contact for contract review process questions and ensure that processes are being followed Participate in Legal Operations Field tickets submitted by the business to the legal department via the legal team's Jira service desk Help advance Legal Operations team projects, driving to on-time and on-budget results Assist with process design efforts in support of the Legal team and its internal clients Assist with the centralized management of Legal team process documentation and provide ongoing support for ensuring documentation is up-to-date Assist in identification, implementation, and administration of new Legal department tools and technology solutions including, but not limited to, eDiscovery, matter management, and contract management software Assist with leveraging existing technologies to develop new use cases Assist with compiling Legal department analytics and reporting on key metrics Assist with legal vendor management and oversight Support and manage various ad hoc projects within the department as they arise Train new team members on Legal department technology, processes, and best practices You should have: Minimum 6+ years of law firm and/or in-house paralegal experience Experience with the litigation life cycle, including discovery, across complex matters Experience performing discovery-related tasks such as the identification, preservation, and handling of data in response to discovery requests Experience on the litigation team of either a law firm or corporation Experience with end-to-end contract lifecycle management administration and CLM systems Ability to work on your own and prioritize multiple, often competing for deliverables while managing expectations and meeting deadlines Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate effectively and gain trust and confidence with personnel at many different levels Ability to work as a team member of the legal department in a scalable, autonomous and accountable manner, demonstrating flexibility across deal types and time zones Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal clients & colleagues as well as external parties (external counsel, strategic partners, auditors, regulators, investors) while addressing complex issues in an accurate, clear, and thorough manner Experience with Ironclad Experience with Exterro Experience with Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence) Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills Exceptional Excel and Microsoft Office skills Competency in handling multiple tasks in a changing environment with attention to detail, and perform duties with minimal supervision Worried about not having any logistics experience?
