LED Specialist is responsible for executing both basic and complex calendaring workflow requests generated through the Litigation Department’s CompuLaw Litigation Event Docketing system (“Goodwin LED”) for federal and state court matters.
In addition, the LED Specialist takes lead responsibility on administrative tasks as needed; serves as a mentor and informational resource for junior Goodwin LED Staff; and executes more complex and substantive calendaring requests.
What You Will Do:
High Volume rules compliance review including research of local rules, orders, and judicial preferences to ensure accurate deadline generation.
Executes complex and substantive calendaring requests in the LED workflow queue.
Advanced CompuLaw database administration.
Serves as a mentor and informational resource for junior Goodwin LED Staff.
Document and docket review and analysis for calendar events.
CompuLaw event entry, deadline generation and accuracy review.
Reviews and updates Goodwin LED informational resources.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in a litigation calendaring position using CompuLaw or other similar calendaring database.
Extensive knowledge of state and federal court rules and structures.
Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
Superior organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask with changing priorities to meet strict deadlines.
The ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
Superior client service and litigation support skills.
The ability to work independently, take initiative, and be proactive.
Ability to juggle workflow demands while advancing goals on projects and initiatives.
Possess professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and the ability to work cohesively and constructively with all levels of firm staff.
Knowledge and experience with litigation docketing/calendaring systems such as CompuLaw.
Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
