SVP, General Counsel
We are looking for a General Counsel to report to our Chief Financial Officer.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the company's legal and compliance functions.
You will serve as a solutions-oriented advisor, partnering closely with the CEO, CFO, senior leadership, and the board of directors on all aspects of the business, current and future risks, and assist in setting, influencing, and implementing the overall strategic direction of the company.
You will lead a world-class team as Lattice continues to grow and expand globally.
What You Will Do Be a strategic partner to the CEO and CFO, providing legal counsel to the executive leadership team, guiding the company through complex legal issues and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Serve as a thought leader on Lattice's business plans, product roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies, collaborating with senior management to develop and implement legal strategies aligned with Lattice's business objectives.
Provide clear-eyed guidance on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, stakeholder communications, and regulatory filings, and engage with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain compliance with corporate governance standards.
Oversee the maintenance and continued development of our legal and compliance operational processes, including as applicable to areas with significant cross-functional impact, such as commercial contracting, privacy, training, policies, procurement and systems to help us scale with the business and enhance both effectiveness and efficiency.
Lead and continue to develop Lattice's legal and compliance functions, including managing outside counsel, ALSPs, and other contractors and consultants.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments with the potential to impact Lattice or its customers' use of Lattice services, develop and implement strategies to mitigate associated risks, and provide business-oriented solutions in support of Lattice's strategic roadmap.
Work in close collaboration with Lattice's People Team on employee relations matters for a high-performing, diverse global workforce.
Develop strategies for mitigating exposure to legal risks, and manage any legal disputes or litigation involving the company, working closely with external counsel as needed.
Provide strategic guidance and lead legal diligence efforts in relation to any M&A, IPO, strategic partnerships, or other major corporate transactions.

from an accredited law school.
Bar admission in current good standing, with a license to practice in at least one U.
S.
state.
Experience in-house in both private and public company settings.
Experience advising C-suite executives and board members on a variety of legal matters.
Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business acumen, and a demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively about proposed resolutions to legal problems and risk mitigation.
Experience in the B2B SaaS industry, preferably within the HR tech space.
Knowledgeable about legal operations, with a successful track record of adopting technological solutions to automate and scale legal department processes.
Passion to understand Lattice's products, customers, culture, and business.
