*Experience: *
* Associates must have 3+ years of experience and knowledge base in antitrust and competition law and litigation, including class actions is highly preferred.
* The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local rules.
* Ability to handle independently the full range of legal work, including client relations, research and writing, courtroom advocacy, fact investigation and case development, negotiation, and depositions.
* Law review and/or judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
* Candidates must have the ability to work superbly with others in handling high-stakes cases in a fast-paced environment.
* The attorney must have strong academic credentials, brilliant interpersonal, communication, analytical, time management, and research and writing skills.
*Responsibilities: *
* Work collaboratively in the office and with co-counsel to push cases aggressively through discovery, briefing, and trial.
* Contribute substantively to one or more phases of a case immediately and be able to work though all phases of a case from inception through trial and resolution.
* Investigate new cases and causes of action, as well as originating cases.
* Collaborating with the team to uncover anticompetitive or fraudulent misconduct.
* Develop a legal strategy and the factual record, and craft litigation and trial strategy.
* Identify, select, and prepare expert witnesses.
* Draft briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
* Prepare for and participate in hearings and trials.
