LITIGATION CASE MANAGER (Senior Litigation Paralegal)

The firm seeks a full-time Litigation Case Manager resident in our San Francisco Office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as San Francisco office’s principal point of contact with West coast courts, prepare filings for California state and federal courts, e-file California state court filings and coordinate with the firm’s court services department (Managing Attorney’s Office) in NY regarding calendaring.
Coordinate efforts of lawyers and staff working on matters to ensure work is performed on time and with efficiency, including establishing internal deadlines.
Inform lawyers about costs and effectiveness associated with staffing options, logistical decisions, and choice of vendors.
Coordinate document collection, tracking, review, and production in conjunction with clients, attorneys, litigation support, and vendors.
Assist with preparing for depositions and witness interviews by organizing factual materials for attorney review and coordinating logistics, location, equipment, technology, and court reporters.
Plan and organize logistical arrangements for trials and hearings.
Foster collaboration, teamwork, clear communication, and a solutions-oriented approach.
Demonstrate expertise in problem-solving and workflow efficiency.

Minimum of five years of litigation experience in a law firm.
Familiarity with California state and federal court filing requirements and e-filing systems.
Experience with ediscovery tools and techniques, including creative and adaptable approaches to data collection, reduction, review and production.
Availability to work the hours necessary in order to provide outstanding client service and complete court filings by submission deadlines
Ability to travel when needed and to work from home or the office.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
Trial and arbitration hearing experience.
Preparing database and running trial software (TrialDirector or similar applications) during present presentations in court or other venues.
Professional fluency in Spanish or Mandarin.
