About the Role:
Uber is reimagining the way the world moves for the better, and our Legal Team is proud to be an integral part of that change.
Legal works hand-in-hand with teams and leaders across the company, serving as expert business partners and trusted counselors.
As part of Uber's 2024 1L summer associate program, you'll have the rare opportunity to work with one of our partnering law firms for 6 weeks, to be followed by 4-5 weeks with our in-house legal team.
You will actively participate in a broad range of legal matters and receive substantive legal work.
You will also receive professional training, and valuable mentorship and networking opportunities.
For the law firm portion of the program, there will be opportunities to work either in San Francisco or Los Angeles based offices.
For the in-house portion, you will be working at our headquarters in San Francisco.

What You'll Do:
Gain valuable legal work experience at one of our partnering law firms as part of their 2024 summer associate class
As a member of the in-house team, work cross-functionally with subject matter experts across a wide range of legal practice areas
Learn about how a tech company operates, and the role of an in-house attorney

Candidates who advance in the interview process will also be asked to provide a legal writing sample and a law school transcript with first semester grades, once available.

Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled full-time in an ABA-accredited law school as a first year law student
This role is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain U.
S.
work authorization.
