For which I ask $60 per hour.
Or, flat fees for defined projects are negotiable.
Years of experience have given me broad, fairly deep knowledge as to:
Contracts and Leases;
Civil Procedure;
"Complaints", Demurrers, Answers, Cross-Complaints;
drafting Discovery;
a wide variety of motion practice, including Anti-SLAPP and Summary Judgment Motions;
incisive research and reporting regarding legal issues;
drafting and responding to Demand or Meet-and-Confer Letters;
Arbitration Petitions and Briefs;
Trial Preparation and Practice;
Domestic Violence Restraining Order applications;
Real Estate and Business Litigation; and
Personal Injury cases.
I have some experience with Family Law, Employment Law, and Appeals.
(I would not be the person to call in regard to: Bankruptcy, Immigration Law,
or Unlawful Detainer litigation.

I have also successfully carried out assignments only tangentially related
to legal writing, such as: negotiating on behalf of a vendor an amicable settlement of a claim by
the purchaser (an eminent San Francisco attorney) of a defective
kitchen stove; and helping an entrepreneur negotiate the terms of a lease on restaurant space.
