Mid-sized women-owned education law firm with statewide practice representing school and community college districts seeks an associate for its Business, Property and Construction Law Practice Group.
Candidates will be considered for the San Francisco, Long Beach, San Diego, Sacramento, East Bay, or Fresno office.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of construction and property law experience in both transactional and litigation matters, including the following qualifications: Property law experience, including drafting and negotiating leases, purchase and sale agreements, and other property acquisition and disposition processes Public procurement/contract negotiation experience, including construction-related contracts Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities, and also possessing a strong aptitude for learning Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, with strong attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated success working as a team player in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to work independently Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills Admission to the CA State Bar Public works experience is desired An offer of employment will be contingent upon being fully vaccinated and providing proof of your COVID-19 vaccine upon commencing employment.

The anticipated annual salary wage range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $130,000 to $175,000.
The final annual salary wage offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience in the job, type and years of experience in the industry, education, and other factors.
