Seeking a full-time administrative assistant for a 9 attorney Elder Law / Estate Planning / Probate law firm in downtown San Francisco.
This is an ideal job for aspiring paralegals or law students before entering paralegal school or law school or while applying for law school.

This is a permanent full-time, in-office position.
Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.

There are 2 to 3 administrative staff in the office Monday through Friday.
Most legal staff (attorneys and paralegals) are working part-time in the office and part-time remotely.
Entry level salary range: $42,000-$50,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities for this position include:
● Front desk reception (i.
e.
greeting clients and answering phones)
● Copying, scanning and preparing documents for court
● Legal calendaring
● Word processing/transcribing
● Receiving, scanning, and distributing mail
● Preparing documents for mailing
● Preparing documents for court
● Other clerical tasks
● Light cleaning for COVID 19 precautions and kitchen maintenance
Qualifications:
● At least one year of office experience.
Experience in a law firm preferred, but not required
● Computer knowledge of programs including Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Well-organized and detail oriented
● Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines
● Strong work ethic
● Ability to learn and retain information in a variety of areas, including office procedures, client cases and office communications
● Discipline and motivation to work unsupervised
● Typing, proofreading, editing and transcribing skills with accuracy
