Who You Are and What You’ll Do: You are passionate about life sciences and making a difference to cancer patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
You will be responsible for reviewing, executing and archiving work orders and service agreements that are primarily processed through our procurement system, Coupa, and our contracts management system, Agiloft.
The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s day-to-day intake of contracts accords with its business practices and policies, working off guidance provided by the Manager, Contract and Legal Operations.
This role requires a cross-functional understanding of the contracting needs of the various business units of a clinical-stage biotech organization, the ability to work autonomously in a deadline-driven environment, and the willingness to learn new systems, asking questions as needed.
The successful candidate will have a customer-focused mindset and be communicative with stakeholders and the broader Legal team.
Job Responsibilities: Administering the company’s contract management database, diligently archiving contracts, and tracking active agreements.
Reviewing service agreements and NDAs/CDAs, escalating to Manager as needed.
Partnering with the finance and procurement departments to process inbound vendor contracts.
Responding to inquiries regarding contracts, retrieving and archiving them from the contract management system, Agiloft, as needed.
Monitoring agreements throughout the contract life cycle for milestones, approvals, expirations, etc.
Advising internal stakeholders regarding the status and requirements of their respective contracts; resolving stakeholder questions based on contracting policies.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have at least a BA degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DocuSign, Coupa and contract management systems is preferred.
Should have at least 2 years of relevant contract management experience.
Ability to manage multiple work streams and deliverables, and coordinate across functional initiatives to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of contract structure and ability to identify specific provisions contained within contracts.
