Daly City civil litigation firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney (0-1 year experience) to begin work immediately.
Our firm has a broad range of practice areas, mainly personal injury and construction defect insurance defense.
We are looking for a self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and detail oriented environment.
The position will provide a substantial amount of responsibility with an appropriate level of supervision.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* drafting pleadings and correspondence
* taking and defending depositions
* working with clients on day-to-day advice and counsel inquiries
* handling a large caseload
* drafting discovery
* document review
* attending court hearings
Qualifications:
* applicants must be licensed in California for the Associate position
* post-bar applicants awaiting bar results will have an opportunity to move into an Associate position once sworn in
* detail-oriented
* an ability to work independently
* strong communication and writing skills
Experience or interest in Construction Defect, litigation, and/or public entity defense is a plus.
Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience
Full benefits (HSA, medical and dental) after 3 months of employment
401(k) after 1 year of employment
