Legal Secretary A boutique law firm located in downtown San Francisco’s financial district is looking for a Legal Secretary to join our expanding practice! This full-time position provides direct litigation and executive assistance supporting shareholders and at least one other attorney on our litigation team.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of working experience as a litigation legal assistant.
This position offers a broad range of responsibilities requiring litigation and administrative skills.
Responsibilities will include court filings, creating and editing pleadings, and litigation client file maintenance.
You will also assist in maintaining all aspects of the attorneys’ practices through effective communications, prioritization, calendaring, phone coverage, records management, time entry, and coordinating meetings and travel.
Strong organizational skills, high customer service focus, proficient technical skills (including WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint), and the ability to multitask are essential.
The ability to be a flexible team player and work with different levels of employees, as well as clients, is a must.
Working well under pressure, a professional demeanor, good judgment, self-starting, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as well as reliability, punctuality, and good attendance.
Compensation is $45-58/hour, depending on experience.
This position requires two days per week in-office work, with remote work available the other three days after the initial training period.
