Original Watercolor Painting - Hang Glider at Oregon Ridge, MD The artist, Mr.
Olney "Bud" Payne Jr.
was a student at the Maryland Art Institute and was a noted artist in the Maryland area and a member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society BWS Artist writing on the back of the painting states, "This 11" x 14" watercolor was completed on May 17, 1997.
A Kodacolor photo taken by me at the scene in July 1979 was used as a guide.
Scene is at Oregon Ridge, north east of Towson, Md.
A former ski slope is now used for hang glider training.
Paper is Bockingford 140 lb.
