This unusual piece has so many lovely details- the drawers are painted/burnished in deep greens ,blues and reds, while the top of the cabinet and sides are smooth, dark colored wood with variegated wood color in grain (not sure origin, could be Indonesian).
Solid and sturdy, vintage look.

The drawers all pull out smoothly, and are are rather deep, practical for holding many items.
Would be great in a bathroom, living room, library room, entrance , or hallway.
The colors are so fantastic.
Purchased for nearly $700 from an antiques dealer in Napa just last year.
Was used to stage a home recently and has been carefully stored (inside, because I liked it so much, it's in a spare room!).
