I've been caring for these two beautiful bonsais for over half a decade: daily watering, monthly nutrients, biannual shaping.
They've been thriving in San Francisco, with cool nights and sunny days.
Bonsais need a lot of love and care, so I'm only looking to sell to an owner who will provide them the attention they deserve.
I unfortunately need to give up this hobby and these two trees because my work now requires me to travel more than not, and I'm worried the trees won't thrive with my required lifestyle.
Bonsais are outdoor plants only.
They can survive a few nights indoors, but they won't thrive.
They make for a great hobby for those that like simple rituals in their lives, like a zen watering each morning as you enjoy your first coffee of the day.
If you're excited about this hobby but don't know the first thing about bonsai care, I've learned a lot from Heron's Bonsai on Youtube: https://youtube.

Meet the trees:
- Dwarf Japenese Juniper (Juniperus procumbens nana) - 12 years old, ready for a biannual rewiring and shaping
- Trident Maple - 11 years old, almost ready for repotting and you could start wiring it up too
The first few photos are from today.
The last photo is from 2 years ago, right after their last major pruning and shaping.
You can see the incredible amount of maturation and health! You can also see the good bones of the trees - they'll tidy up real nicely!
Text or email if you'd like to adopt these beautiful trees.
They're about 1' tall x 1' wide x 8" deep.
$250 for 2, $150 for 1.
