The steel rods are almost as thick as a pencil, and about 6" apart, but closer together along the bottom.
They're fairly stiff, but springy enough to bend into half circles and spring back straight again.
They kept out dogs, goats, turkeys and unwelcome guests.
We also found them useful to trellis vines, arranged horizontally or bent to form garden arches that needed to be anchored, but no additional support.
With sales tax, these were $37 at Tractor Supply last year, currently $40+ at Home Depot, if they weren't sold out.
We're asking $20.
Some are perfect, others slightly bent, but still fully functional.

There are a few slightly bent rods on some.
They're unwieldy to transport.
If you have bolt cutters to cut them into 8' panels, that might be more practical.
