Our farm is needing to downsize for a number of reasons and it means these two need to find greener pastures.
The are registered and purebred Idaho pasture pigs(google the breed! They are the perfect homestead pig), proven many litters over and have been back together for two weeks so likely bred for farrowing in early March.
They are well socialized, very sweet, and easy to handle.
They bucket lead well and easy for injections, treatment, or care.
Easy on your infrastructure, and maintain on a very reasonable amount of feed.
Chamaka is the boar, he was born and raised on our ranch and is a giant puppy dog.
He’s a little on the big side for an IPP, but we always preferred it as he grows nice long bellied piglets.
He loves belly ribs, scratches and apple treats.
Kamea is the sow, she was the first IPP we brought to the ranch and the reason we fell in love with this breed.
She is sweet, smart, spunky, and such a good mom.
He face has so much character, she always makes us smile.
She consistently has littters around 10-12 in size with very few losses, she is a very attentive mom.
She has let us be there for almost all her births to clean the piglets and make sure everyone gets a good start and is comfortable with handling during her labors.
She is sturdy, never any health or birthing issues.
She has just come off of a good break to give her some extra rest time and has many good years of breeding left.
$2000 for the two of them, registrations will be transferred to new owners.
Must be able to transport yourself, we can help with losing but we are unable to transport or deliver.
Pick up in Penngrove.
