JBL L1 Bookshelf Speakers Incredible Condition - $300 (SOMA / south beach)

BL L1 Speakers Restored, Refurbished.
A picture tells a thousand words.
These JBL’s are stunning, truly one of a kind.
The cabinets were sanded down to bare wood.
Then they were stained multiple times with polyurethane mahogany.
The fronts were painted in a rich and lush satin cream.
Both the 706G and 035TIA woofers and tweeters were replaced with Brand New in a box drivers.
I had sourced them out over time for this project.
Actually, the 706G drivers are from the ultra high end JBL Synthesis Series, which are shielded.
Nice touch.
I also found some cool tweeter grilles that are much stronger.
Looking at them closely they are as close to New as you will find.
These speakers sound outrageously good, the can fill a small or medium sized space with no problem whatsoever.
