Violin Teacher

Los Cenzontles Cultural Arts Academy seeks an enthusiastic violin instructor experienced in teaching the fundamentals required for violin performance.
Instructors should be experienced in working with children ages 8-17.
Should be familiar with Mexican music such as rancheras, corridos, sones.
Be able to collaborate with other music instructors on ensembles.
This is a part-time position, three to six hours per week, and pays $35 per hour.
Responsibilities include: Openness to learning the Los Cenzontles Methodology.
Openness to learning new and traditional Mexican music.
Prepare students to play in ensembles.
Prepare students to play at recitals.
Punctuality for classes and faculty meetings.
