Compensation: $40 +/ hr, DOE, plus merit-based bonus after 12 months.
Employment type: Part-time (five hour shifts 1:00 to 6:00 or 1:30 to 6:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday plus another 4-5 hrs on Sunday either 9-2 or 1-6.
Minimum commitment 15 hrs/week for 1 year.
Position: working at home and in the community with a young adult with developmental disabilities who enjoys sports, community outings, education, and whom requires assistance with life and daily living skills.
Ideal applicant is a team player able to get along well with others, energetic, athletic, empathetic, and has at least 5 years experience serving the special needs community with teens or young adults.
Class work completed in Psychology, Special Education, Nursing, Speech Pathology or other relevant caregiving training is a plus.
We are looking for someone special who can commit to at least 12 months.
Training: This job includes a two week paid training period at $25/hr.
