TMS Middle School Math Teacher Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our middle school teaching team as a English teacher and advisor for one period in the morning four days a week.
Qualification Requirements
A passion for working with young people
An openness to professional development and continuous learning
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A pleasant approach to work and, ideally, a sense of humor
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in English literature or related field
A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience
Proficient technology skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office
Candidates with English and/or humanities experience are a plus
Responsibilities
Teach 7th and 8th grade English
Collaborate with teams to design and implement an interdisciplinary, thematic-based, experiential curriculum
Use the Harkness Method to teach (a plus)
Lead an advisory group
