This is a voluntary summer position.
Programs will be held on campus and follow COVID-19 safety rules.
Summer programs will continue to follow any and all public health guidelines regarding COVID, as applicable.
JOB DESCRIPTION Create a positive, achievement-oriented, and structured learning environment that motivates and supports students Execute daily instruction responsibilities, including lesson plans and connecting students with resources.
Provide feedback to students and families regularly share their progress toward their goals Design and implement subject-relevant curriculum Follow and use grade and subject matter appropriate curriculum Exhibit and utilize effective classroom management techniques Use culturally relevant pedagogy Design and implement differentiated instruction and assessments for various skill levels and learning types Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Valid California Credential authorizing service in applied position Training and experience in the specific programs are required Must be proficient in standards-based instruction and assessment Demonstrate ability to motivate at-risk youth Please note that selected candidates will be assigned based on program needs.
Selected candidates are expected to commit to the program for the duration of the assignment.
Offer and continuation of employment is dependent upon level of student enrollment and attendance.
Notice of employment will be sent to the selected candidates.
Qualified personnel from within the district will be considered for placement.
