I.
Job Description:
As a Delivery Installation Specialist, your main responsibility will be making home deliveries of appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, patio furniture, and more to our customers.
Here are some key aspects of the job:
A.
Schedule:
You will be working Monday to Friday, with start times ranging between 5AM-7AM.
The average workday will be 10-12 hours.
There will be a rotation of Saturdays, which will be discussed with the manager.
B.
Warehouse Duties:
Each day will begin at the warehouse, where you will assist in loading your delivery truck with the items for the day.
C.
Delivery Process:
You will be responsible for delivering and installing the items at our customers' homes.
This may include unloading heavy objects, maneuvering items weighing over 75 pounds, and following service manual instructions for installation.
Some stops may also require picking up returns.
II.
Training and Compensation:
We provide comprehensive training and a competitive compensation package to our drivers:
A.
Training:
You will undergo an on-the-job training period of 4-6 weeks to learn the ins and outs of the job.
B.
Compensation:
During the training period, you will earn a minimum of $19.
50 per hour.
Once the training is completed, the average salary is $75,000 per year.
Your compensation will include a mix of activity and mileage pay, ensuring you earn at least $72,000 annually.
C.
Benefits:
After 30 days of employment, you will be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.

III.
Requirements and Special Considerations:
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
A.
License and Location:
You must have a Class B or Class C license and reside within a 50-mile radius of Hayward.
This is important as the delivery truck will stay at our facility.
B.
Driving Record:
A relatively clean driving record is required, with no 15+ violations, reckless driving, or DUIs in the last 5 years.
C.
Physical Abilities:
This job requires physical strength and ability.
You should be capable of loading and unloading heavy objects weighing over 75 pounds and maneuvering items weighing up to 400 pounds.
Experience with tools, dollies, lift gates, pallet jacks, and ramps is preferred.
D.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience is always a bonus but in no way is required
