Sonoma Mountain Foods, an established wholesale Mexican food distributor located in Rohnert Park, is seeking an independent contractor for a part-time, 20-30 hour/week delivery route driver.
All candidates MUST have own delivery vehicle and/or trailer with own motor vehicle insurance.

This is a Monday, Wednesday, Friday opportunity with an opportunity for increased hours and compensation in time.
Estimated compensation to start at $55,000 - $60,000 per year.
This is a 1099 - independent contractor position.
Work hours generally 5:00AM to 12:00PM with no take home work!
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate own box truck/truck with trailer, and company-owned forklift to transport goods and materials
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and sales invoices
Qualifications:
-MUST have own delivery truck or covered trailer to transport goods
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools
-Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
