Center Point DAAC (Drug Abuse Alternatives Center) has an opening for two part-time drivers (20 hours per week).
The driver transports residents to and from appointments, meetings, recreational outings and other locations as assigned by the manager.
The driver is responsible for seeing that safety regulations are observed by passengers at all times and completes timely and accurate incident reports.
All applicants for the driver position must have some transportation experience, must have a current valid CA driver's license and a clean driving record.
Qualified applicants who are in recovery must be off probation/parole and have at least two years clean time.
All candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with residents and staff both on and off duty, possess good written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to maintain productive work relationships with residents, employees, the public and other external agencies.
