We are an electrical contractor located in San Francisco, CA.
and are seeking a Commercial Class A Or B Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) or more.
The ideal candidate is reliable, dependable, punctual, and works safely, proactively, and is eager to learn.
The candidate should be able to follow directions, write down instructions, and is able to operate trucks up to 40ft.
in length.
The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM in the Bayview District.
*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Safely operate all company trucks
* Inspect truck(s) before and after trip
* Load and unload construction materials and equipment to and from our job sites within the City & County of San Francisco.
* Properly track and document daily activity
* Report any issues or incidents to your supervisor immediately
* Knowledge of Google Maps or other GPS for navigation
* Cleaning and maintaining trucks (to be specified)
* Occasional shop work/organizing our warehouse, unloading deliveries
* Pick up/dump concrete to/from job sites
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
* Class A or Class B license
* Show proof of clean DMV record
* Minimum of 1 year experience driving flatbed, bobtail, or 10-wheeler
* Ability to operate 10 speed manual transmission trucks
* Familiar with reversing small trailers
* Experience in operating trucks up to 40 ft.
in length
* Must pass mandatory pre-employment DOT drug test
* Possess knowledge of Commercial Vehicle Rules and Regulations
* Ability to handle physical workload and occasionally lift up to a minimum of 75lbs
* Forklift certified a plus
* Strong work ethic and possess strong communication skills
