The Valet Parking Attendant is responsible for safely parking and retrieving resident and visitor vehicles at the parking facility located at and/or provided by the property.
The Attendant is also responsible for safely operating the mechanical lift system and vehicle elevators maintained at the property and immediately reporting malfunctions or operating problems to the supervisor.
The Valet Parking Attendant complies with policies and procedures for keeping track of the location of resident and visitor vehicles, inspecting vehicles for damage, and immediately documenting and reporting any accidents or damage that may occur to the vehicles while under the care of the parking garage staff.
The Valet Parking Attendant provides exceptional service to residents and visitors in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner, answers questions and provides directions as appropriate, and supports the property’s overall efforts to ensure resident satisfaction.

Acknowledges, greets, and welcomes residents and visitors to the property using appropriate protocols, answers questions related to the valet services offered, and provides directions when requested.
Responsibly and safely parks and retrieves resident and visitor vehicles, complying with all applicable traffic and motor vehicle safety and operating laws.
Before taking any vehicle, assesses and documents any vehicle damage, and immediately reports any damage caused to vehicles during parking and retrieval.
Participates as required in addressing and resolving insurance claims related to vehicle damage caused by the valet service.
Follows the property’s process and procedures for recording the location of the parking space for parked vehicles, and for storing and securing the keys to all parked vehicles.
Confirms and matches claim ticket with the corresponding vehicle when retrieving vehicles.
Operates the mechanical lift system and vehicle elevators on the property by following the and safety procedures and immediately reports any malfunction or operating issues to the supervisor for resolution.
Assists residents and visitors with directions and other inquiries as appropriate or refers residents and visitors to the appropriate source for responding to questions.

Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
