Job Duties
* Prepares receipts/shipping reports for all loads picked up.
* Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
* Maintains telephone contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
* Loads and unloads truck with forklift.
* Inspects truck equipment daily and truck supplies such as, but not limited to: tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water, DEF etc.
* Properly secures loads with blocks, dunnage, tarps and/or ties and straps.
* Helps identify materials as needed.
* Maintains a clean and safe truck cab.
* Other duties as assigned including yard duties.
Qualifications
* Valid Class A driver’s license
* No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years
* No DWI/DUI in last 10 years
* 2+ years’ commercial driving experience required
* Forklift certified
* Flatbed experience
* Roll off experience
* High school diploma/GED required
