Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, including operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, or tankers.
- Knowledge of load securement techniques and regulations.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and temperature control systems (if applicable).
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (if required).
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
