Job Summary Kiva will depend on the Delivery Driver to receive and deliver cannabis products to the growing Northern California region in our Kiva branded vehicles.
This position requires an excellent driver, comfortable with being on the road throughout the day, transporting various goods and materials and enjoying brief encounters with customers on occasion.

Communicate with Manager regarding daily deliveries or delays related to on-time-deliveries Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor in the presence of vendors and business partners.
Confirm and or assist with loading all orders Complete necessary deliveries to distribution and manufacturing sites throughout Northern California while maintaining scheduled appointments Confirm order accuracy with customers and verify order is consistent with packing slip.
Handle materials (lifting 50-55 lbs.
) Miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by Manager Receive and log incoming items, as appropriate.
Unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order.
Receive POs in FileMaker, follow up on missing POs.
Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when a product is missing in a delivery.
Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
Prepares finished stock for shipment to LA and Partners by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing Act as a secondary runner to drop off mail and/or packages to USPS, FedEx or UPS, etc.
Any other special project assigned by management.

HS education or Associates strongly preferred Minimum of 2 years delivery experience Valid California Driver's License Must pass Kiva's Motor Vehicle requirements Excellent driving and equipment operation skills and attention to detail is required Excellent driving record is required Strong communication skills Strong organization and time management skills Comfort with using iPad & personal cell phone for vendor communication Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Driving In the field 50% of the time Covering all of the Northern California territory Must be able to drive in all weather conditions Able to assist the warehouse team to prepare and load raw, finished goods and completed products coming from manufacturing and or packaging.
Flexibility to work in a ever changing environment Physical Requirements Work schedule is Monday to Friday - 7am to 3:30pm This position requires driving for long distances and tolerating long work hours Some overnight deliveries may be required Ability to safely drive large van/truck The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
The employee is frequently required to talk or hear; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
The employee is frequently required to sit; walk; stoop.
