We're currently hiring for an OTR position, out at least 12-14 days.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) 3 years minimum.
- Proven 2 years experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
- Ability to load and unload cargo using proper techniques if needed.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs if needed.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and heavy lifting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with freight transportation.
- Experience with OTR.
