The Construction Driver/Laborer Helper would primarily be responsible for driving a company vehicle to various suppliers, loading, transporting, and unloading job site materials.
In addition, the applicant would work to clean job sites, load refuses, and transport them to the dump/recycling facility.
There will be onsite training for an apprentice carpenter.
Some construction expired is preferred.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Good driving record and a valid driver's license (Class C Driver's License (Required)
• Must past drivers check with DMV
• Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Ability to lift and carry construction materials.
• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position
• Have the ability to work as a team.
• Punctuality, fellowship, and cleanliness.
• Must be able to perform the above for at least 8 hours per day 5 days per week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Operate company vehicles and delivering building materials to and from commercial/ residential construction sites in a safe and timely manner.
• Deliver different commodities to construction sites.
• Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Cleans job sites of construction waste
• Loading and unloading materials and removing hazards
• Perform general construction labor tasks – e.
g.
, site cleaning, assist other members of the crew.
• Other duties as assigned.
