This position is responsible for providing safe transportation to participants in a timely, competent manner, and for communicating important information relevant to the overall care plan to the multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications: Coursework/Training: First Aid training Coursework/Training: Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire.
Driving may be necessary as part of this role.
Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving.
Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
See policy for additional information If driving a large passenger vehicle, California (Class B) driver's license per California Highway Patrol Regulations, and proof of insurance per company policy will be required upon hire.

About the Team Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
Our service lines include assisted living/skilled nursing/rehabilitation, home health, home infusion/pharmacy services, home medical equipment, hospice and palliative care, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), personal home services/private duty care and supportive housing.
