Original Pattern Brewing is an award winning, employee owned brewery and tasting room located in Oakland CA.
We are expanding rapidly and package cans and draft to sell through the tasting room and have an extensive customer base and distribution network throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
*Job Summary:*
The Delivery team is responsible for delivering our beer to our customers throughout the greater Bay Area.
This is the perfect entry position into a Production Brewery for anyone that has a passion for craft beer but no professional brewing experience.
The right candidate will have impeccable attention to detail, be focused on quality, safety-minded, efficient, a great work ethic, a positive attitude and the desire to be part of our team.

*Duties and Responsibilities*
*Logistics operations:*
* Picking cans and kegs at the warehouse for delivery
* Loading vans for delivery
* Delivering beer to our accounts
* Pick-up of raw materials from our suppliers
* Completing delivery paperwork and collecting payments
* General warehouse maintenance and cleaning
* Occasional help at the brewery including packaging
*Other:*
* Maintain workplace safety
* Keep detailed records
* Maintain a clean work environment at all times
* Lift, drag, carry and manipulate kegs, cases, raw materials
* Perform other related duties as assigned
*Physical requirements:*
* The job is physical and the applicant must be able to bend over, kneel, crouch, twist and sit and stand for the duration of a shift
* Lift 55lbs and maneuver 160lbs repeatedly
* Handling of hazardous chemicals safely
* Operate complex machinery
* Temperatures within the brewery are extreme for long periods of time and the work environment can be hot, cold, wet and noisy
*Compensation:*
* Starting pay is $20/hour.
The delivery team works 10-12 hours/day Tuesday-Friday with a significant amount of overtime.
Total expected compensation with overtime and benefits $45,000-$60,000 depending on number of hours worked.
Pay rate is adjusted once drivers establish track record of safety, accuracy, reliability and timelines.
