*Meyers Resturant Supply (Subsidiary of Edward DON and Company) is looking for a local delivery driver who will be driving trucks that are 24 ft or less in length and will be making multiple stops and assisting with the delivery of large kitchen appliances to our clients.
No overnight stays.

*Delivery Driver (CA)*
Responsible for the delivery of the merchandise to customers within the expected time parameters.
Must be able to unload truck as well lifting 75-100lbs.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES*
* Delivers merchandise according to a pre-determined route.
* Must have clean driving record
* Unloads correct merchandise and checks order, noting any corrections.
* Completes all assigned reports and paperwork at the end of the day.
* Communicates with the Manager any system or documentation problems identified.
* Picks-up returned merchandise per return authorization
* Performs safety and housekeeping duties as they pertain to Edward Don & Company and OSHA standards.
* Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing to customers and all levels of staff.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*REQUIREMENTS*
High School diploma or GED equivalent is required with a minimum of 1 year Commercial Driving experience of a box truck or similar.
Clean driving record is required with ability to bend, stoop, climb, twist, stand, and lift between 60-100 lbs while loading and unloading delivery truck at each stop (15-30 stops per day).
Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time and maintain a good driving record while employed.
Must comply with all DOT regulations as required.
