Position Title: Solution Engineer, Enterprise
Position Location: 353 Sacramento Street, Suite 2200, San Francisco, CA 94111
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summary of Duties:
Position can be performed in the office or remotely anywhere in the US.
Design solutions that elegantly integrate Extend with merchants’ existing technical infrastructure including eCommerce, POS, OMS, and ERP systems.
Lead technical discussions and gather functional and technical requirements, analyze requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing Lucid charts, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint and JIRA gather merchant implementation requirements.
Design custom solutions for enterprise merchants and provide industry-leading practices for merchant partners that include leading brands and household names in the retail, manufacturing, and consumer products space.
Dive into complex technical problems and work collaboratively to understand and resolve merchant issues during the development and testing phase using POSTMAN, Workato and any other applicable merchant tools.
Work closely with the product management and revenue leadership to deliver best-in-class API first technology solutions and identify any product gaps to meet merchant requirements.
Support Extend’s growth by suggesting product enhancements to increase ease of integration and automate processes to streamline onboarding merchants.
Define standard processes around leading practices and author documentation to support self-serve.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering or foreign equivalent plus 3 years of web development or software engineering experience with customer-facing in a technology, consulting or financial services company.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 20% domestic travel required.

Experience must include:
Understanding of back-office OMS and ERP systems.
Ability to design custom integration solutions and communicate via Powerpoint, Lucid chartsto merchant partners and get stakeholder buy-in.
Experience integrating with Javascript SDKs and APIs
Experience integrating common eCommerce platforms (e.
g.
Shopify, SuiteCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.
) and API tools (e.
g.
POSTMAN)
Expected Pay: $152,625 - $177,375 annually*
*The target base salary range for this position is listed above.
Individual salaries are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location and job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
Incentive compensation will be provided as part of a total compensation package.
