We are looking for a Packaging, Sanitation and Maintenance Technician to join our amazing team and help us package our delicious craft beers! Our ideal candidate will be passionate about craft beer and excited to be part of our team.
SUMMARY In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of packaging lines and supporting bottling/kegging operations at the Windsor facility.
This involves providing comprehensive support for all bottling, canning, and kegging operations, including tasks such as equipment cleaning, sanitation, regular maintenance, and ensuring the safe and timely completion of packaging tasks.
While collaborating with the Packaging Coordinator and Packaging Supervisor you will actively contribute to achieving quality control goals, promptly addressing any arising issues, and accurately recording and reporting packaging data while also escalating any unresolved mechanical issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

* Operate, and provide support for, all bottling, canning, and kegging operations.
* Cleaning and sanitation of equipment including CIP of bright beer tanks and fillers.
* Perform regular and preventative maintenance on packaging equipment and end-of-day cleaning on all lines.
* Ensures all packaging tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
* All work to be completed with an eye toward low TPO (Total Packaged Oxygen).
* Work with the Packaging Coordinator Supervisor to achieve all QC goals.
* Proactively prevent and stop QC issues if they occur.
* Report any mechanical issues not resolved to the packaging lead or packaging supervisors.
* Accurately record and report packaging data into OBeer as well as Smartsheet.
* Operate a forklift safely.
* Follow all safety rules and wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
* All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time and walk; use fingers, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands; talk and hear; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, twist, bend and crouch.
The employee must occasionally lift or carry up to 60 pounds and manipulate and/or move up to 155 pounds, including tipping full kegs via a tipping station.
The use of arms above the shoulder is sometimes required.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Requires manual dexterity and ability to quickly move hand(s), hand with arm, grasp, manipulate, or assemble.
The employee operates a motor vehicle/forklift.
