New series starts March 7, 2024! Beginning Swing is offered Thursdays from 7-8pm starting at 860 Western Avenue in Petaluma.
We will meet every Thursday in March and April except 3/14 and 4/18.
INTRODUCING Tradiontal Swing Dance! Enjoy Swing of the Golden Era with Jasmine Worrell.
If you are new to swing dancing this 6 week series is for you.
Swing is a fun social dance that is an instantly accessible way to enjoy social dancing to swing jazz, blues and rock and roll music.
Come learn how to swing dance with a beautiful community of students of all ages.
Swing dance originates from Lindy Hop, the original swing dance from the 1930's, which was first developed in the ballrooms of Harlem to Big Band Jazz music.
Enjoy this fun and playful partner dance! Absolutely no partner or experience needed.
Group will rotate partners, and couples can come and not rotate if they wish — or rotate with the rest of the folks.
Classes are progressive, therefore every week within that series, we build upon the moves taught in the previous class.
Sign yourself up and maybe a friend if you wish + bring a pair of flat comfy shoes.
