At Nurny we are looking for energetic and caring individuals to supervise children/adolescents with neurodevelopmental diagnoses (i.
e.
, autism, cerebral palsy,ADHD, Down syndrome, global developmental delay, etc.
).
We are seeking caring and experienced professionals who enjoy spending time with kids and helping them lead more independent lives.
The successful applicant will be responsible for engaging children in fun, developmentally appropriate activities, following through with therapeutic interventions and utilizing individualized communication strategies.
*This is a long-term position, part-time hours position*
The successful applicant _*must have availability at least 2 days from 2:00pm-7:30pm Monday-Friday*_.
Additionally, the applicant should be able to _*drive to/from Tiburon *_and have at least 6 months experience working with children with neurodevelopmental needs and at least 1 year nannying.
Specifically searching for someone to be dedicated to a bright, happy, eager to learn 5 year old with motor disability (cerebral palsy).
If you’re a SLPA, an OTA, a PTA, someone aspiring to work as an SLP, PT, or OT, or someone interested in child development and disability, this is a great opportunity.
We are looking for someone to be an extra set of hands and learn about the child's therapy, needs, and possibly chip in elsewhere if needed (such as with light home tasks (related to children), pick ups or drop offs, or occasional care of the younger siblings in a pinch (who have other caregivers).

Must be CPR certified (or willing to get CPR certified) and willing to pass a background check.
Also, taking initiative is key! Must be a self starter who communicates clearly and can look around for what needs to be done and jump in, be able to "own" certain tasks or take them on independently as needed.
Guidance will be provided.
Requirements/Qualifications
● Open minded and willing/eager to learn, especially about AAC/speech/occupational/physical therapy as well as alternative therapies
● Previous experience with AAC devices, speech/language tools
● Interest in speech pathology, child development, psychology, education or medicine
● Must have reliable transportation to get to and from client's home, clean driving record, knows or can learn car seat safety and operation
* Able to lift 30-35 lbs.
* Up to date on all vaccinations including Covid 19 + Booster
